10/2/23 Still the best pastries in the area. Best Roti shop in the area. Lots of vegetarian options for breakfast in the morning but very limited in the evening. The pastries are scrumptious.

Placed a catering order recently for a church event, with many in attendance from different cultural backgrounds— Food was 5 Star Delicious! Flavorful and not greasy. Very friendly and helpful staff. This take-out spot is a real gem and sets the standard for down home West Indian cuisine.

I’ve been ordering from this restaurant for years. Always delicious! I wish the prices weren’t so high, but inflation/costs are high, and they give you the amount of food worth the price you’re paying. The curries are so delicious and the duck curry is my favorite! I visit this restaurant weekly and I’ve never had a bad interaction with anyone here. The staff is very friendly.

Our village roti shop is really very wonderful , tasty restaurant they have authentic Guyanese Trinidadian Suriname food which\n Is very tasty? They are located in Jamaica in new queens, village, people from all over New York visiting this restaurant, because they sell very authentic, tasty, hygienic food. And the people who working here are really very nice. People respectful people, they talk very nice with the customers. Highly recommended

Food is great but price high but was told today by 11/15/25 by someone who was working there that the 3 girls that working the counter makes they own price the person even went on to tell me they jitting me by jacking up the price form the normal price and that's bad village roti shop shud recognize their customers after all I have bin buying there for over 15 years they has a very bad customer service

It's my neighborhood indigenous roti shop. It's one of the best places in Queens to get your pastries The best chicken patties pine tarts and cheese rolls. The food on the menu is exceptional. Always very freshly done for you. friendly atmosphere, service is exceptional. Love going there once in a while every time even though it's close to me to visit

So happy I found this spot. Reminds me of home cooked guyanese food. Everything I've tried so far has been so good, dhall, cookup, chowmein and my favorite is the fried rice.
